Every year, the Vilobí de Onyar Milk Fair is held over the third weekend of October. The fair coincides with the traditional celebration in honour of Sant Galderic, the patron saint of Catalan farmers, to whom an offering is made and in whose honour a parade and blessing of tractors is held through the streets of the town.
>This year, at the event closing ceremony, the authorities present gave our school an award for merit in promoting the dairy sector.
We are very happy and grateful to have been recognised in this way.
A wrought iron sculpture was also presented in memory of our former student Joan Lleal, a symbol of the passion he had for cows, a sector to which he dedicated his professional life. A beautiful monument that can be seen right at the entrance to his village and which keeps the memory of him alive.
