European Student Forestry Championship and CATSKILLS

The Intermediate Level student, Eudald Rigao, qualified to attend the European Student Championship in Forestry (ESCFS) held in Tervete, Lithuania.

Eudald was well accompanied by Sergi Martínez and Gina Itxart (as substitute), both from @easolsones, Yannick Franken from EA del Pirineu, and David Gil from EFA La Malvesia.

The result was modest, 14th place out of 16. It was their debut, and now we can only go up. They did a great job and showed a lot of commitment, but we lack experience — we’ll keep working on it! And above all, being selected to participate in a European competition is already a success!

That same May, students Pere Zarzoso and Nikola, Higher Level students, won second place in the CatSkills Landscaping and Gardening competition held in Vila-seca (Tarragonès) on May 20, 21, and 22. This marks the best result ever achieved by the school, matching the 2019 performance, which also earned second place.

The competition consisted of a three-day contest involving nine teams from across Catalonia. During these three days, students showcased their skills in constructing a 25 m² garden, simulating real-life work situations and collaborating as a team with technical rigor and creativity.
