A study that deals with the pedagogical system of alternating and dual training. VET will become entirely dual in the next academic year, despite its current low rate of implementation and the shortcomings it presents.
The pedagogical system of alternating training, though not recognised by the education administration, has satisfactory experiences for students and for the development of their environment, an example being the Escola EFA Quintanes school. The properties and characteristics of both are analysed and the integration of elements of dual mode alternation is sought in order to facilitate the application and improvement of academic results from an educational, business and social point of view.
